The article is made by methods of data collection from fieldwork, survey, and meta-analysis of historical, cultural and linguistic aspects to assess conservation and development issues of Cham architectural and sculptural art.

Carrying out fieldwork such as surveying, taking photos, systematising documents, in combination with the method of comparing published articles by scientists, at the same time, summarising and collecting materials and articles in books, newspapers, seminars and magazines for comparison.

The writer uses and references the research works of some authors of sciences relevant to the article such as folk religion, archeology, history, language... to elucidate the artistic characteristics of the artifacts to be studied.

Through research works, articles, documents and visual materials about Champ sculpture architecture of domestic and foreign authors to consider and analyse the elements of art to overcome the currently researched shortcomings, being studied with the concepts of culture - belief, life, yin and yang category attributes...

In addition, the article also uses interdisciplinary research methods at different extents, art history and culturological methods are applied more to meet and support the thematic article.
