The influence of philosophical and religious teachings on the Chinese culture of Song dynasty (960-1279)

Abstract
The article discusses influence of philosophical and religious teachings on the formation and development of the culture of China in the period of Song dynasty. The research helps to understand historical process of the Song dynasty in all its diversity, the causality of the emergence and changes in the philosophical and cultural parts (mostly poetry and painting) of the Chinese civilization during the studied period, to identify aspects of the historical process that most influenced both philosophical and religious teachings, formation of religious syncretism and its relationship with Chinese culture.
