Iranian-Ottoman influence on Tatar jewelry: forms and techniques

Abstract
The article examines the influence of the Ottoman Empire and Iran on the jewelry business of the Volga Tatars from the 10th to the 20th centuries. The main similarities in the technological and technical aspects of jewelry, as well as in the use of materials are considered. Hypotheses of the emergence of new stylistic trends in the jewelry business of the Tatars, the impulse of which was historically given in an earlier historical period, are proposed.
