Pronunciation and practice of using the modal particle "啊" during phonetic changes in the speech flow

Abstract. The article deals with the phenomenon of phonetic changes when using the modal particle 啊. Its pronunciation as part of a sentence changes depending on the previous syllable in the speech stream. The authors believe that such a sound change should be taken seriously, as it has a direct impact on learning pronunciation. However, most modern textbooks do not pay enough attention to the practice of using the modal particle 啊. This article explains the nature of phonetic changes in Chinese and the importance of learning to use the modal particle 啊. The article also explains the features of the use of the modal particle 啊 and lists six situations in which its phonetic change occurs. This article describes the functions that the modal particle serves at the end of sentences and provides examples of material that educators can use to complement the teaching process to explain the practice of pronouncing the 啊 modal particle so that students can better learn this skill. The practical benefits of learning the pronunciation of the particle 啊 are separately explained. After explaining to the students the basic knowledge of changing the sound to the modal particle 啊, it should be noted that various practice sessions should be performed according to the language level of the students to help them learn the rules for reading the modal particle 啊.
